Former Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial
District, Senator Shehu Sani, on Thursday, raised an alarm over the insecurity
in Kaduna State.
Senator Sani who wrote on his verified Facebook page warned
that Kaduna is under siege of bandits and terrorists.
He said no one is safe or secured in the state.
He wrote; “The terrorists kidnap and kill at the time and
place of their choice. They have razed down villages and impoverished families
through ransom payments. Terrorists have become a shadow Government.
“I spoke as a lone Ranger and have been insulted and defamed
for telling the truth about our state and now we are living the reality that
was ignored.
“Those who blindly supported and defended the failure of the
Government also have some stain of blood on their hands.” He said
“However, it’s instructive to note that recently, the
kidnapping and killings of Catholic priests in the state by terrorists has
become systemic.
“I have lost hope that this Government, the only thing to
expect from them is to go. We look ahead to the next Government to save our
country and protect our people.” He wrote
