NNEWI------------ THE Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has
mocked the Minister of Information Alhaji Lia Mohammed and the Nigeria Police
Force for doing a shoddy job in their desperate attempt to incriminate it, by
failing to mention the Police Command or station in Imo or Anambra State, where
the alleged beheading Police men were serving.
A late statement by IPOB, Media and Publicity Emma Powerful
described the allegation against IPOB as one of the funny incriminating games
the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Department of State Services, and the
Police, have been playing to incriminate IPOB.
According to IPOB, "It is very shameful that a Minister
of Information and the Nigeria Police Command in the fake story preceding the
viral video of the alleged beheaded Police men, could not substantiate their
claim of IPOB beheading the men by mentioning the Police Command or Division
the alleged beheaded Police men were serving.
"We are also shocked that such a heinous crime was
committed against the Police, the Divisional Police Officer, the Area Commander
or the Commissioner of Police of the State, have not spoken about their alleged
officers beheading, but the Minister of Information in Abuja who has never
visited Anambra or Imo State before was the one issuing the first statement on
a heinous crime like what is seen in the viral video.
"IPOB challenge Mohammed and the Police to name the
Police Division, Command and the state the alleged beheaded men are serving and
advised that they should next time not leave any loophole whenever they want to
carry out their desperate criminal activity to incriminating IPOB, because they
goofed in this one.
IPOB statement further read, "We in IPOB are shocked
that the Minister of Information Lia Mohammed and the Police could do this
shoddy job in an attempt to desperately incriminate a nonviolent group like
IPOB, by failing to mention the division their alleged beheaded Police men were
serving.
"It is not enough mentioning the usual Anambra and Imo
state in Lia Mohammed's statement, which he failed to mention when and where
the incident took place, we also expected Mohammed and the Police to mention
where they were abducted from before their beheading, but they failed thereby,
leaving a lot of uncovered ground in the report in their desperate bid to
incriminate IPOB and our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
"We are aware that those who have been agitating
against the release of our leader and visiting Aso Rock Abuja, to lobny against
his release are using the Minister of Information to discredit IPOB and Mazi
Kanu, to prevent his unconditional release, we know their game plan, and we
also know that this is not the first time this kind of orgy video is released
linking IPOB, we have develop tough skin for that kind of fake and
unsubstantiated allegation against us.
"The Minister and the Police have goofed again in their
desperate effort to discredit IPOB and our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, we
therefore urge them to try another 'game plan' this one did not click, the
allegation and its execution and half information it provided made nonsense of
the whole plans and made the story very watery, for even the most unintelligent
will know that the story and the video are fake."
