Nigeria's Department of State Services Security, DSS, said
the Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) was training suicide bombers
to launch attacks in Nigeria.
The DSS, which said it learned of the plan through
intelligence made available, revealed that the suicide bombers are aiming to
soon resume the attack mainly in the northeast.
Security agencies and vulnerable communities are at the
focus of the attack, said Babagana Bulama— director of DSS in Adamawa State.
According to Bulama who spoke at State Security director's
conference held Thursday in Borno state, efforts are being made by security
agencies to ensure the safety of life and property.
