The Senior Pastor of Awaiting The Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Adewale Giwa, has urged Nigerians to return to God because things have gone from bad to worse under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Pastor Giwa said a bag of rice had increased to N77,000 under Tinubu’s administration, unlike what was obtainable in the past.

Noting that Nigeria was good from 1960s to the time of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, the clergyman lamented that things took a bad turn under the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Addressing his members in Akure, Giwa said: “I warned Nigerians against voting for Tinubu last year, but the Southwest said no, he’s our son, we should vote for him.

“God needs to forgive Nigeria because it wasn’t like this in the 60s and 70s, till we got to 1999, when Obasanjo was president, the country was good; when Jonathan was there, the country was better.

“How much was a bag of rice during Jonathan’s administration? It was N8000.

“When Buhari came into power, everything went bad and when our son (Tinubu) came onboard, things got worse. A bag of rice is now N77,000, where are we going in this country; God has to forgive Nigeria.”
