Chelsea co-owner, Todd Boehly, has reacted to the sacking of
Graham Potter as the club’s manager.
Chelsea, on Sunday night, announced that Potter had been
discharged from his duty at Stamford Bridge.
Potter’s sacking comes after Chelsea’s Premier League 2-0
defeat to Aston Villa at home.
Reacting, Boehly said he was disappointed that the club
sacked Potter.
Boehly, alongside his co-controlling owner Behdad Eghbali
was quoted by Chelsea’s official website as saying: “On behalf of everyone at
the club, we want to thank Graham sincerely for his contribution to Chelsea.
“We have the highest degree of respect for Graham as a coach
and as a person. He has always conducted himself with professionalism and
integrity and we are all disappointed in this outcome.”
