The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate,
Bola Tinubu, has described former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s endorsement of
the Labour Party, LP, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as a “poison.”
Tinubu said Obasanjo was on a vendetta mission and was
looking for who to manipulate.
In a statement, Tinubu said: “It is poison, the recent
endorsement of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, by Obasanjo
is poison.
“The former president is on a vendetta mission and seeking
someone he can manipulate.”
The APC flag bearer also maintained that the Peoples
Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar was unfit to be
president.
He maintained that Atiku was involved in car smuggling when
he was a Customs officer; hence he’s not qualified to be Nigeria’s president.
Tinubu said Atiku’s claim that he made money from the car
business when he was a custom officer was false.
He said: “Atiku was a custom officer who said he made money
selling cars, that is smuggling. He didn’t even know that a civil servant can
not do any other business apart from agriculture. That is enough to disqualify
him and he is not fit to be President.”
