The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, General
Muhammadu Buhari, is advancing to induce Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta to
conceal new information about the "abduction" and "extraordinary
rendition" of Nnamdi Kanu, said the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
According to the separatist group which made the claim in a
statement on Thursday, “the revelations so far made at the Kenya Court have
made Buhari very uncomfortable, hence his desperation to stop further
revelations.”
While condemning the continued detention of Kanu, who faces
charges of treason and other alleged crimes for calling for a referendum on an
independent state known as Biafra, IPOB stated that the Nigerian President who
paid a visit to Kenyatta, will not escape a trial before the international
court.
“The only thing that will save Uhuru Kenyatta is truth. He
shouldn't allow Buhari to induce him against speaking the truth,” said the
separatist group.
